Ekimeedaa's lovely folk flourishes carry a pronounced North Indian flavour, and having Udit Narayan and Shreya Ghoshal sing the melody only accentuates that feel further. But it's a soothing listen nonetheless. The grand orchestration that accompanies Gana Gana Gana lends the song an anthemic touch, while Saaho Saarvabowma Saaho and Singhamu Pai Langhinchenu (Kadhaa Gaanam), both led by Vijay Prakash on the vocals, are more situational, the latter in particular narrating the story of the king in the form of a medley. The soundtrack's highlight is the Hindustani classical piece Mrignayanaa and effortlessly complementing the song on the vocal side is S. P. Balasubrahmanyam and Shreya Ghoshal. Chirantann Bhatt's Gautamiputra Satakarni is largely theme-ish, but for the two melodies.
