Music Review: Rajini Murugan (Tamil)
Composer(s): D. Imman

The title song, sung by Sivakarthikeyan, is an adequately engaging brassy kuthu, while Un Mele Oru Kannu, despite its formulaic tune, is melodious in Jithin Raj and Mahalakshmi Iyer's superb vocals. If the folksy Aavi Parakkum Teakadai and Jigiru Jigiru (Ilaiyaraaja's Podhuvaga En Manasu comes to one's mind) are just about middling, Yennamma Ippadi Panreengalaema turns out to be yet another alcohol-induced girlfriend bashing song to join the list of Kolaveri and the likes. Rajini Murugan is altogether a ho-hum and disappointing offering from Imman.
