Music Review: Heroine

After Munni, Sheila and Chameli here comes Halkat Jawani to capitalize on the item song quotient but deathly dull just about sums it up. Shreya Ghoshal is perfect for the slow but engaging Khwahishein, but Main Heroine Hoon, its laughable lyrics aside, has quite an edgy feel to it. I have really grown weary of listening to Rahat Fateh Ali Khan's vocals for an endless number of pathos-inducing songs and now Saiyaan joins the list. The electropop number Tujhpe Fida is quite enjoyable though, thanks to Benny Dayal and Shradha Pandit's lively rendition. Composer duo Salim-Sulaiman dish out an mediocre soundtrack for Heroine!
