Music Review: Majnu (Telugu)
Composer(s): Gopi Sundar

For the effervescent Kallumoosi, Gopi Sundar ropes in Suchit Suresan who hits all the right notes with his fabulous singing. Haricharan Seshadri's vocals in the lilting rock-based melody Oorikey Ala is equally good, if not better. Andamaina incorporates an interesting fusion of classical elements in the form of flutes and sitar, whereas the soft waltz'y Jare Jare is pure melodic perfection, thanks to a bewitching mix of accordion and flutes, and Naresh Iyer's fantastic rendition. The flutes are a big part of the background in Oye Meghamla as well, with Chinmayi flawlessly handling the vocals like she always does. Aadara, the almost-mandatory kuthu song, is the only weak link, bland and sticking out like a sore thumb. Gopi Sundar's winning streak in Telugu continues with Majnu.
