Alejandra Ghersi, better known as Arca, is all set to drop KiCk i — the follow-up to her critically acclaimed 2017 self-titled album — next week, and today the Venezuelan artist has unboxed a new song from what's turning out to be yet another strong singular shape-shifting effort, leaning towards a hypnotic mixture of sounds and moods while continuing to defy expectations. Titled Mequetrefe, the latest offering comes on the heels of the industrial-leaning Nonbinary and the dreamy, transcendent Time, and works well as a jittery, chaotic jumble of reggaeton-inspired beats.
