Guru Randhawa and Rajat Nagpal slightly tweak Tu Meri Rani - noticeably removing the rap segment - and the result, Ban Ja Rani, is absurdly addictive. Tanishk Bagchi, for his part, remixes Mr. India's Hawa Hawai, but thankfully retains Kavita Krishnamurthy's vocals for what's a catchy upgrade of the 1987 tune by Laxmikant-Pyarelal. Bagchi's other offering Manva Likes To Fly, in Shalmali Kholgade's splendid singing, is ebullient, as is Amartya Rahut's Farrata sung by Armaan Malik and Adityan. Santanu Ghatak's mellifluous Rafu is the undoubted highlight, almost evocative of A. R. Rahman's Chal Kahin Door and featuring a flawless rendition by Ronkini Gupta. For a multi-composer soundtrack, Tumhari Sulu gets almost everything right.
