Google Finance Gets a Material Design Makeover

Finance may have been the one web property long neglected by Google, but in the wake of recent redesigns for News and Calendar, the internet giant appears to be rapidly putting the outdated red-and-grey-themed user interface to rest. To that effect, in a fresh blogpost made today, Google announced its plans for an "expanded finance experience", in addition to baking it right into search results under a separate navigation tab called "Finance". That leaves Translate, Gmail and Groups as the only remaining Google-owned websites to still feature the old design.
