Music Review: Maine Pyar Kiya (Telugu)
Composer(s): Pradeep Kumar
Listen to the songs online here: Raaga
Pradeep Kumar nails the jazzy sound in the lively Kadalakunda and he sings it well too as always. Ee Prema Manakoddhu's soup song flavour has Sean Roldan rendering the song neatly as Pandu (Theme) is distinctively Santhosh Narayanan in its wacky dialogue hodgepodge. Shakthisree Gopalan is first-rate in the melodious Shwaase Nuvve with Pradeep lending her excellent vocal support, while the string-based Ningilona, appearing in two separate versions sung by Pradeep and Kalyani Nair, is absolutely captivating for its contrasting musical styles. That leaves us with Adiginde, the best of the soundtrack featuring the voices of Abhay Jodhpurkar and Kalyani Nair. Stunningly arranged (that violin!) and beautifully sung, this serene ditty is a fantastic listen. Santhosh Narayanan regular Pradeep Kumar makes a fabulous debut as a composer with Maine Pyar Kiya.
