Saridhaana Saridhaana, featuring the vocals of Yazin Nizar, Thomson Andrews and Ghibran himself, is a groovy techno-rock fusion, its exuberant tune perfectly matched by the guitars, drums and the wonderful nadaswaram bits in the interludes. Largely evocative of Chillendra Chillendra (Thirumanam Ennum Nikkah), Edhedho Ennamvandhu has Haricharan Seshadri and Padmalatha doing a great job of crooning the pleasant sufi based melody. The other Solo version by Sundar Narayana Rao however feels forced. K. G. Ranjith and Madhu Iyer lend pitch perfect support to the intricately arranged Dheva Dhevadhai, an enchanting composition that almost brings back memories of Ilaiyaraaja. The use of strings is bloody brilliant, I must say.

Chinna Kuyil K. S. Chithra sounds ethereal and effortlessly mesmerising in the exquisite blend of Western classical and Carnatic styles of music that's Mounam Paesum. The spell-binding orchestration aside, Sowmya Mahadevan's booming additional vocals too jell in well, providing a nice contrast to Chithra's soft whispery voice. With a gorgeous Vidyasagar'ish tune, Padmalatha's absolutely spotless rendition of the blissful Hindustani semi-classical Dhaagam Theera makes it an arresting listen. Ghibran has already become the one of the most sought after composers today, and rightly so, for he keeps churning out great quality music in each of his films. Amara Kaaviyam's music is amara kaaviyam... an immortal masterpiece!
