Vivek-Mervin replicate Gulaebaghavali's Heartukulla and Guleba with Oh My God and Kamala, but in their second iteration, the results are at best patchy. The duo, however, craft weave a rich shimmery melody in Sandakari Neethan that gains tremendously from Anirudh Ravichander and Jonita Gandhi's effortless singing. Maaradha is aptly triumphal, if a little thematic, with pitch-perfect vocal backing from Shankar Mahadevan. Innum Vera makes for a heart-warming listen, almost reminiscent of early Rahman — especially Kadhalar Dhinam's Nenaichchapadi — its folky backdrop complemented beautifully by Diwakar on the vocals. But the soundtrack's clincher arrives in the form of Azhagu Azhagu, a tender and exquisite melody that has Shweta Mohan hitting all the right notes with her fabulous rendition. Vivek Siva and Mervin Solomon have a winner on their hands with Sanga Thamizhan.
