Grungy, hard-rock elements rule Padmavyuham and the title track, and it's to the composer and the singers' credit that the tunes make for intriguing listens. Shakthisree Gopalan's husky voice and Pramod Umapathi's flute go perfectly in sync with one another in the enticing melody Yelugula Teraley. Karthik too isn't far behind, sounding his breezy self in the lovely rock-infused semi-classical ditty Neevalaney that also boasts of a neat violin work from Tejas Mallela. Adedo Maayalley is a winsome mix of sax and guitalele, and in Tracey Thorton's languid rendition, the song's unusual treatment works mighty well in its favour. Pradeep Kumar pulls off a fab job singing the utterly mesmerising Enno Enno Bhavaley, and the composer's arresting blend of sarangi (Aslam Khan), banjo and guitars adds to its allure. Vivek Sagar goes from strength to strength in his third outing as a composer after Pelli Choopulu and Sheeshmahal, delivering eclectic music that's both original and refreshing!
