Heavy Rotation: Jamie Beau, Julia Holter, Martin Courtney & More

Now that Adele's 25 is out, are you waiting for Rihanna's ANTI? At least I am; enough with the teasers already RiRi!

Nespole, Peroration Six, Argente, For Marmish (Floating Points) - Nespole is mind-blowing no doubt, but so is Sam Shepherd's debut album Elaenia as a whole. Sometimes no music is music too!

I Don't Feel Right (Idiot Glee aka James Friley) - I really don't feel right after listening to this mellow earworm of a melody!

Catherine, John & Michael (Jamie Beau) - Very few things are more eargasmic than Beach House, Fleet Foxes and Tame Impala. And Jamie Beau's cello-laden Catherine... is one of them. What a song!

Silhouette, Feel You, Lucette Stranded on the Island (Julia Holter) - If you ever feel like wandering the wilderness all by yourself, you know what songs to pick. Absolutely stunning!

Over It (Junior Boys) - Aren't those synths so groovy? I just feel like dancing to it.

Foto (Martin Courtney) - From Real Estate band member Martin Courtney's solo debut album Many Moons, Foto is quite a departure from the outfit's oeuvre and eminently memorable, especially for them gorgeous violins.

Idealistic (Mind Enterprises) - I wrote about Mind Enterprises's intoxicatingly groovy Chapita not long back, and now you have this funky Neon Indian-like title track from his upcoming debut album Idealist.

Strange Darling (Miya Folick) - A melancholic, poignant (folk) number from LA-based songstress Miya Folick.

Boy (Ra Ra Riot) - Electric and upbeat, enriched by a lovely interplay of guitars and violins!

Business Interruptus (Rob Crow's Gloomy Place) - Very sing-along'ish, and some superbly nifty guitar work there.
