Haricharan sings two songs, the first Paravaya Parakkurom, a solo, is nicely orchestrated and the folk-rock mix of ghatam, violins and guitars works very well in its favour. Unna Ippo Paakkanum, the other track featuring him and Vandana Srinivasan, builds on a beautiful Ilaiyaraaja'esque soundbed and is mesmerising. Shreya Ghoshal delivers Yengirindhu Vandhaayo flawlessly, the melodious piece riding on a pretty Ilaiyaraaja-like tune. Her second outing, Yen Aala Paakkaporaen, alongside K. G. Ranjith incorporates some fab ghatam arrangements, making the brilliant semi-classical melody an arresting listen. Koodavae Varamaadhiri and Yenga Pulla Irukka, in Alphons Joseph and Balram's vocals respectively, are both high on pathos, but the minimal fuss-free orchestration makes it all the more impactful. Deeyalo Deeyalo, the customary kuthu number, stays catchy and Orathanadu Gopu's rendition is apt. D. Imman adds one more feather to his cap with Kayal!
