Music Review: Nerungi Vaa Muthamidathe (Tamil)
Composer(s): Madley Blues

Kaligaalam works wonderfully for its stupendous folk-rock fusion comprising of guitars, thavil and nadaswaram and Shankar Mahadevan's energetic vocals. In contrast is the blissfully serene Hey Suttrum Boomi which charms its way through Mili Nair's superb rendition. Nandini Srikar leaves her distinctive style all over the beautifully composed rock-flavoured Yaar; and so does Chinmayi in Yaarum Paakkaama, a masterfully arranged Carnatic-folk mix that finds some fabulous violin backing, courtesy Karthick Iyer. Nerungi Vaa Muthamidathe has fantastic 'rocking' music from Madley Blues, not to forget the choice of singers!
