Music Review: Thirudan Police (Tamil)
Composer(s): Yuvan Shankar Raja

Ennodu Vaa is a clear Yammaadi Aathaadi (Vallavan) rehash, but the kuthu number is foot-tapping enough, thanks to Sathyan and Senthildas's exuberant singing. The otherwise engaging electronic mish-mash Moodupanikkul suffers from excessive auto-tune and vocal processing, so much that Naresh Iyer's voice is virtually indistinguishable all throughout. Pesadhe is stereotypical Yuvan Shankar Raja, but a beautifully orchestrated rock-based duet sung splendidly by Hariharasudhan and Pooja. With Haricharan and S. P. B. Charan going behind the mic, Deivam goes minimal on arrangements and yet feels wonderfully emotive and heartfelt. Thirudan Police finds Yuvan in better form, given his recent debacles.
