Music Review: Satyagraha (Hindi)
Composer(s): Aadesh Shrivastava, Indian Ocean, Meet Bros Anjjan, Salim-Sulaiman
Film: Satyagraha
If the title song works as a passable anthem, Salim-Sulaiman hit all the right notes with their gorgeous techno-classical fusion Aiyo Ji, aptly complemented by Shraddha Pandit on the vocals. Janta Rocks (Meet Bros Anjjan) and Hum Bole The (Indian Ocean) are mildly engaging, but the soundtrack's highlight comes from Aadesh Shrivastava's Mora Piya-like Raske Bhare. Its House Mix, featuring a frenetic techno base, feels celebratory and primed for the dance floor. But for the two songs, Satyagraha is customary at best.
