Music Review: Muppozhudhum Un Karpanaigal

Oru Murai is totally hum-worthy and despite the tune's Joshua Sridhar vibe (possibly due to auto-tune), it's mighty addictive and crooned excellently by the composer himself along with guest vocals featuring Andrea Jeremiah and Blaaze, who adds the requisite hip-hop zing to it. Oh Sunandha sung by Raman Mahadevan is a gorgeous foot-tapping melody that's instantly addictive, while the suitably poppy Mazhai Pozhiyum puts Aalaap Raju's vocals to the best use. Kangal Neeyae is pleasing enough in Sithara's voice, but Yaar Aval Yaro (Mohammed Irfan) recalls to mind Awarapan's Tera Mera Rishta (Pritam Chakraborty), making for a decent enough listen. G. V. Prakash ends 2011 on a winning note with Muppozhudhum Un Karpanaigal
