Listen: Hoops' "They Say"

Indiana-based dream-pop outfit Hoops went on to garner acclaim for their 2017 debut Routines, but their journey shortly sputtered to a halt thereafter. In the interim, the band's bassist, Kevin Krauter, pursued a solo career with Toss Up last year and returned with a follow-up Pretty Boy earlier this June. But now, the three-piece group have come back from their self-imposed indefinite hiatus for a new song They Say, a balmy piece of sonic bliss that's a winning, groovy mix of shoegaze textures and darker psych stylings.
