Justin Vernon-founded Bon Iver have announced a brand new album called 22, A Million, their first in five years, and if that wasn't enough to get you pumped up, they have also unveiled extended versions of two of the songs from their to-be-released sonic outing. Titled in leetspeak, 22 (OVER S∞∞N) and 10 d E A T h b R E a s T ⊠ ⊠ are characterised by their contrasting, Janus-faced use of vocal distortion, the former leaning towards a more ethereal vibe, and the latter accompanied by thudding electronic beats that further amplify the effect.
