Music Review: Yennamo Yedho (Tamil)
Composer(s): D. Imman

Complete with brass accompaniments, Neeyenna Periya Appatakkara?'s jazzy vibe is aptly complemented by the casual singing of Anirudh Ravichander and Harshitha Krishnan. Shruti Haasan delivers the goods in the reggae-styled Shut Up Your Mouth, whereas the pop number Muttaalaai Muttaalaai is engaging enough, its violin instrumental variant by Karthick Iyer standing out. Mosale Mosale's string and percussion arrangements are fantastic, especially the catchy nadaswaram refrain, even as it gets superb vocal purchase from Deepak and Pooja AV. A beautifully crafted melody, Puthiya Ulagai showcases Vaikom Vijayalakshmi's unique voice at its best and makes for a serene listen. Nothing out of the ordinary, but Yennamo Yedho sails through and is adequately likeable.
