Music Review: Thattathin Marayathu
Anuragam is incredibly sweet in both versions sung beautifully by Rahul Subramanian and Divya Menon; especially the latter Reprise version is marvelous. Anuraagathin Velayil, which is already popular, works wonderfully as a ghazal with Vineeth Sreenivasan's vocals adding to its charm. Ramya Nambeesan and Sachin Warrier join hands to deliver the fabulous Muthuchippi, while the devotional Namosthuthe (Arun Alat) employs violin to great effect against a pop background.
Praanante Naalangal (Yazin Nizar) is effortlessly appealing for its interesting tune, as Vineeth strikes once again in the mellow and pleasing Shyaamambaram, not to forget the absolutely delightful harmonium interludes. The title song, superbly rendered by Sachin Warrier, is minimalistic in its orchestration, and yet is a great listen. The winning combination of Vineeth Sreenivasan and Shaan Rahman (after Malarvaadi Arts Club) makes TM a thoroughly engrossing listen!
