Music Review: Jism 2

Arko Pravo Mukherjee's Abhi Abhi, despite following a standard Bhatt template that you can spot a mile away, is immensely tuneful and K.K.'s flawless (alongside Akriti Kakkar in the Duet version) rendition elevates the song in every possible way. Ali Azmat is heart-wrenching in Maula, while the engaging Yeh Jism sees him again in top form. Mithoon's solo offering, Yeh Kasoor, too has the same slow plaintive and melancholic pattern as his previous compositions though Sonu Kakkar's vocals seem to elevate the song significantly. However, Rushk's Darta Hoon and Abdul Baasith Saeed's Hey Walla are uninteresting and don't work. Jism 2 proves it's a Bhatt soundtrack in all aspects!
