Music Review: Shivaay (Hindi)
Composer(s): Jasleen Royal, Mithoon

Shiva is synonymous with destruction and Bol Har Har Har personifies this very aspect, led by Mohit Chauhan, Sukhwinder Singh and Badshah. Arijit Singh's ubiquitous voice finds its match in Sunidhi Chauhan for the mellow romantic ballad Darkhaast, while the pathos-soaked Tere Naal Ishqa, sung by Kailash Kher, feels both familiar and overwrought. Jasleen Royal's sole contribution Raatein is ear-pleasing (the banjo flourishes towards the end are really neat!), its reprise version going for a darker minimalist vibe that works quite well. Shivaay is at best a serviceable soundtrack from Jasleen and Mithoon.
