Listen: Eluvium's "Vibration Consensus Reality (for Spectral Multiband Resonator)"
Eluvium's upcoming album (Whirring Marvels In) Consensus Reality (5/12) finds Matthew Robert Cooper incorporating "new compositional methods that [blend] varying degrees of electronic automations with traditional songwriting" to construct an ornate yet bewitching combination of sounds. Vibration Consensus Reality (for Spectral Multiband Resonator), an eight-minute-long free-flowing instrumental, is a stunner all the way, layering gentle piano work against orchestral swells that's punctuated by passages of serene, reflective beauty. Have it a listen below, alongside Swift Automatons and one of my personal favourites, Requiem On Frankfort Ave -
