Music Review: Darbaan (Hindi)
Composer(s): Amartya Bobo Rahut, Raajeev V. Bhalla

Khushmizaaj's fluttering melody is evocative of A. R. Rahman's Dil Gira Dafatan, and Amartya Bobo Rahut builds on Arijit Singh's singing to offer a warm and breathy piece that manages to be gorgeous and lush all at once. Rang Bhariya courses through a lilting-if-familiar folk-tinged soundscape, but its rhythmic beats coupled with vocals from composer Gulraj Singh and Amrita Singh make it a delightful listen. Dil Bandar's askew arrangements are distinctly Amit Trivedi'esque, complemented by Tushar Joshi's effervescent vocals, even as singer Raajeev V. Bhalla weaves an euphonic tapestry of sounds in the gentle acoustic ballad Behti Si. Amartya and Raajeev churn out a satisfying and fulfilling soundtrack with Darbaan.
