Listen: Laura Veirs' "Turquoise Walls"

Portland-based singer and songwriter Laura Veirs is all set to make a return in two months' time (10/23) after a two year gap with My Echo, the follow-up to her 2018 outing The Lookout, and on the heels of the lead single Burn Too Bright — a gorgeous blend that layers her delicate voice against an elegant string accompaniment and an insistent percussion — comes a second taste of her 11th solo album. Called Turquoise Walls, the gentle acoustic piece shows her vulnerable side as she reflects on the nights spent "staring at the bedroom walls that my ex and I painted turquoise." Have it a go below -
