Opener Choosale Kallaraa is every bit an enchanting melody that rides along gently throbbing pulses of glistening electronics and layers of strings, turning it into a heady wash of synths even as Sid Sriram's vocals lend it a neat counterpoint. Anurag Kulkarni's effervescent rendition works immensely in favour of the catchy folk piece Sigguendukura Mama, which mines its energy from an assortment of stringed instruments and rhythmic beats. Composer Chaitan Bharadwaj himself leads Merise Merise, an impeccably produced pop song adorned with classical flourishes and gorgeous harmonies, while Haricharan Seshadri, in his inimitable style, elevates Gundesadilaga, its intoxicating soundbed featuring a delicate and beautiful balance of warm guitar riffs and tasteful orchestration. Chukkala Chunni is where everything comes together oh so well, its foot-tapping percussion finding the perfect match in Anurag Kulkarni, resulting in a folky melody that's impossibly addictive. In SR Kalyanamandapam, Chaitan Bharadwaj delivers the goods with a very diverse and engaging set of songs.
