Music Review: Piku (Hindi)

Bezubaan, in one word, is lovely, made even more beautiful by stunning use of sarod and Anupam Roy's splendid singing. The soft-rock song builds into a rousing crescendo of sorts and is nothing short of goosebump-inducing! Roy is joined by the ever-fabulous sounding Shreya Ghoshal for the mellow folksy melody Journey Song, the endearing arrangements comprising of flute, guitar and sarangi once again sporting the highlight. The rock-based Lamhe Guzar Gaye is appositely contemplative in Anupam Roy's emotive rendition, while the breezy mirthful title song is well-complemented by Sunidhi Chauhan on the vocals. Teri Meri Baatein, the final track, is yet another dulcet melody, but with a neat tabla twist employed against a rock base. Sans any ear-assaulting techno elements, Anupam Roy keeps Piku simple, light-hearted, fun and refreshing!
