Music Review: Vithagan

Joshua Sridhar, who gave the memorable Kaadhal and Gaana Bajaana, is back with a bang in Vithagan with three fantastic melodies: Ikkuthae Kangal Vikkuthae, Thananana Thanthanaa, Kadalirandu Thuliyirandaai. Marvellously tuned and wonderfully complemented by the lead singers, Parthiban's lyrics take them to a whole new level. Gappu Aappu, sung by Benny Dayal, is equally interesting, but Unn Zone and Vegamaai just float by without making much of an impression. With Vithagan, Joshua Sridhar crafts a musically rich palette that's by turns ear-pleasing and euphonious.
