Heavy Rotation: Grizzly Bear, Justin Timberlake, Switchfoot & More

I have been busy this week listening to Justin Timberlake, Muse, Switchfoot and Taylor Swift, and so here it is, some of my recent listens...

Airplanes (B.o.B ft. Hayley Williams) - Rapper Bobby Ray muses on his rise to fame in this catchy hip-hop track with pitch-perfect backing vocals from Paramore's Hayley Williams.

Have You Seen It (The Duke & The King) - A simple fuss-free tune that lets the guitars do all the talking!

Two Weeks, Easier (Grizzly Bear) - While Two Weeks is decidedly more indie rock, Easier, with its elaborate woodwinds and strings, borders on dreamy psychedelia.

Cry Me a River, Rock Your Body, My Love, What Goes Around... Comes Around, Mirrors, Not a Bad Thing, Tunnel Vision (Justin Timberlake) - Disco, pop, R&B, synthpop, Justin Timberlake easily covers it all!

Starlight, Supermassive Black Hole, Undisclosed Desires, Uprising, Hysteria, Time is Running Out, Map of the Problematique, Knights of Cydonia (Muse) - Supermassive Black Hole in one word is frenetic! But say what, Madness is not far behind.

Meant To Love, More Than Fine, Dare You to Move, This is Your Life, Stars, This is Home, The Sound, Your Love is a Song, Restless (Switchfoot) - When it comes to hard-rock and grunge music, Switchfoot is one band that immediately comes to my mind. And their latest When We Come Alive warrants a listen just for its epic chorus.

Back To December, Begin Again, Ours, Ronan, Dear John, Teardrops on My Guitar (Taylor Swift) - Taylor Swift made a swift transition from country to country-pop to full-on pop, that we all know, but I personally prefer her soft guitary melodies, especially Back To December, which somehow makes me emotional every time I listen to it. Catch this live performance if you haven't already.
